The individual in this position will provide assistance to Library IT in managing Raynor’s Library Service Platform as well as other duties as needed.
This position will assist Library IT in three main areas:
System maintenance
Identify system redundancies and run reports
Equipment record maintenance
Testing and Troubleshooting configurations
Analytics
Build analytics reports on library services and data
Explore new ways to analyze library data
Export and cross-analyze existing reports Basic System Support
Respond to basic system support requests
Qualifications
Required:
SQL/MySQL knowledge
HTML/XML knowledge
Troubleshooting skills
Willingness to learn complex technical library services
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred (but not required):
Experience with Business Intelligence platforms such as OBIEE
Experience working in a library setting
Interest in learning about technical librarianship
