Joel Pogodzinski, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Joel Pogodzinski serves as executive vice president and chief operating officer. He is responsible for the following areas: environmental health and safety; finance, endowment and treasury; human resources; information technology services; internal audit; university police; planning and facilities management; and risk management. In addition to reporting to the president, university advancement reports to Pogodzinski for operational issues.
