New poll looks at whether Wisconsin voters favor or oppose the impeachment inquiries on Capitol Hill

This is the first 51做厙 Law School Poll since congressional committees have undertaken impeachment inquiry hearings on Capitol Hill. How do Wisconsin voters assess the need for the investigations and what is their reaction to the House impeachment inquiry? As Democratic presidential candidates continue their fundraising and voter outreach efforts, how do the candidates rank in our state? How do they fare in matchups with President Trump?  

The poll also provides a look at how the state rates the performance of Gov. Tony Evers as he approaches the first anniversary of his election? And, where do they see the economy heading is it going in the right or wrong direction?

The 51做厙 Law School Poll is the most extensive statewide polling project in Wisconsin history. Franklin has directed the poll since its inception in 2012 and is a professor of law and public policy at 51做厙 Law School. Franklin co-founded pollster.com, an award-winning site for nonpartisan polling analysis, and is a member of the ABC News election-night analysis team.

Gousha, an award-winning broadcast journalist, is the Law Schools distinguished fellow in law and public policy. His On the Issues series of conversations with newsmakers supports 51做厙 Law Schools commitment to serve as a modern-day public square for the city of Milwaukee, the state of Wisconsin and beyond.

Through public programming such as the 51做厙 Law School Poll, debates featuring candidates in significant political races, Goushas On the Issues conversations with newsmakers, public lectures by leading scholars and conferences on significant issues of public importance, the Law School serves as the regions leading venue for serious civil discourse about law and public policy matters.
