In late October 2025, Raynor Library's Archival Collections was visited by a delegation from Chasse-sur-Rh繫ne, France. Chasse-sur-Rh繫ne is the original home of the medieval St. Joan of Arc Chapel that now sits at the heart of 51做厙.
While in town to formalize a friendship cities declaration between Chasse-sur-Rh繫ne and Milwaukee, the delegation pored over photographs, plans, and other documents relating to the chapels history that are preserved in the University Archives. The group included the towns mayor, several high school students and two documentary filmmakers.
